Overview of the project
My goal was to create clothes that not only serve a specific purpose but are also stylish. I wanted to design garments that can be dressed up or down, based on the occasion and that are versatile in their functionality. This means that the clothing can be utilised in various ways and forms. It is crucial to me that the clothes are produced sustainably, using as many sustainable fabrics, trims and inks as possible. For the final part of the project I made a TEC-PAC, digital pattern and four digital outfits displaying what the garment could look like digitally.
Note: I worked closely with a pattern cutter to design and develop the custom pattern for the garment. I wanted to design a collection of prints that were bright and bold yet subtle, to attract a wide audience.
